Prototype Raichu Plush by Applause

Applause was a toy company that made little, shiny Pokemon plush in 1999 and 2000. They did make a lot of little guys, but not Raichu!

Raichu was apparently considered along with dozens more, which we found out when many prototypes were unveiled by a former Applause employee! Each prototype has only about 3 made and now one Raichu is here with his brothers in my collection, safe and sound, a tiny piece of shocking history!

Very thankful to be the guardian of one of the most rare Raichu plush ever!
